Closed Captioning with CaptionSync allows you to see the status of your request at any time. This article shows how.
Go to Caption/Transcribe tab -> Status of Submissions. A list of available submissions is presented. You can query for the submissions using multiple filters, like Date, Status, Source, Source Language, Destination Language, Description, and Media File. You can see these other filters by expanding More options. Then click Submit Query:
The status can be one of:
-
Await Synchronization - your submission will be synchronized soon.
-
Awaiting Transcription - your submission is queued for transcription; it can still be cancelled in this state. When can I expect to see the transcript?
-
Transcription In Progress - transcription for your submission is underway; this submission can no longer be cancelled. When can I expect to see the transcript?
