CaptionSync officially supports transcription, captioning, and subtitling for either English, Spanish (or content that is mixed English/Spanish), French or German content. See our Captioning French, German or Spanish Content article for guidance on how to submit Spanish, mixed Spanish/English, French or German content.
While our system is designed for English, Spanish, French or German, we have several users who submit content in other languages (such as Dutch) and get good results. Keep in mind that you'll need to have your own transcript (in the same language as the media) since we only transcribe in English, Spanish, French or German. See our article on character encoding for guidance on how to deal with non-English characters.
If you need true broadcast outputs (how do I know if I have broadcast outputs selected?) such as SCC, ASC, or CAP for line-21 closed captioning, be forewarned that they have limited character sets and not all non-English characters are supported by these formats.
It is also possible to have foreign subtitles with English audio.
