If there are sync or wording errors, and we provided the transcript, please open a Support ticket so that we can troubleshoot further.
If you provided the transcript and there are sync errors, or if you want to make text changes to an existing submission, you can use one of the tools described below, without having to upload the media file again.
Alternatively, you can add Result Review to your submission and we will fix sync for you.
How do I make changes to my results?
CaptionSync offers you several free tools to edit and repair your Captioning results:
- CaptionSync Redo feature: allows you to edit the transcript and fix sync using sync markers, add new outputs, and change various captioning settings.
If you need to fix sync and add sync markers to the transcript, you can find complete documentation on transcription formatting and markers in our Transcription Guidelines article. More information about our formatting guidelines is available in our our Sync Marker Summary, Caption Results Not in Sync and Getting Sync Markers to Work articles.
- CaptionSync Caption Editor: allows you to watch the captions being displayed on a player, and edit the caption text, appearance, sync, place captions on top/bottom of the screen, adjust the caption timeline, and other settings, on a web page editor.
If you just need the following changes, quickly use our Redo feature like described in the linked articles:
Notes:
Our free editing tools are only available for 6 months after the original submission date.
