In addition to our other professional Live Captioning services, we now have a new solution called eCART that uses automatic speech recognition (also known as ASR), combined with trained real-time editors to provide a very scalable option for adding accessibility to your live events.
This solution is provided by a partner, and it is offered to clients as a backup whenever we are unable to staff your event with one of our professional CART writers. As an example, eCART can be a good fit for live events that feature a single speaker with clear, unaccented speech. While there is plenty of capacity for eCART, switching to eCART requires at least 24 business hours advance notice. You can convert an existing unconfirmed Remote CART or RTI request to eCART by clicking the Cover This Event Using eCART button on the Live Caption Details page.
NOTE: The Cover This Event Using eCART button will not be available on the Live Caption Details page for requests starting in less than 24 business hours, or for events that have already been confirmed.

- Our eCART offering doesn't currently support the generation of caption outputs after the event is over (e.g., .srt or .vtt files). However, for Zoom sessions, if you are recording the event to the cloud, and have the Save Captions option enabled (under Account Management -> Account Settings -> In Meeting (Advanced)), prior to the beginning of the session, Zoom will then generate a .vtt caption file for you, along with the video.
