Some of our customers have been reporting difficulty in receiving email from AST, on their Gmail accounts. Gmail recently made some changes to the way they screen for spam email, and we suspect that their filters are inadvertently misdirecting some of our email.
If you are experiencing problems with receiving email from us, on your Gmail account, please try the following steps:
1. To check if any email from automaticsync.com went to your Gmail spam folder, click on the Spam link on the left side of the screen. It is typically 5 - 10 lines below the Inbox link, but if you have many saved folders you may need to click the down arrow next to More to reveal the Spam link.
2. If you find one or more messages from Automatic Sync in the Spam folder, click on the message to open it (the next picture shows an example of a message that was erroneously marked as Spam).
3. Click on the Not spam link above the subject line of the email; the message will be moved to your Inbox.
4. Repeat this process for any other messages from Automatic Sync in your Spam folder. If there are several, you can check the check boxes next to the message subjects, and then click Not spam at the top, moving them all to your Inbox at once.
By marking any AST emails as Not Spam, the Gmail filter will eventually learn not to put AST emails in your Spam folder.
